Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the only woman ever to win the two CrossFit Games. She came in second place in both the 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media celebrity. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 two times as the first woman to win. The other accomplishments she has achieved include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2017 and 2013. Annie together with her the rest of her family, were birthed at Reykjavik Iceland. She was a keen sportsperson and worked out from an early age. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit competitions in California where she was able to perform very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 (by in 2021). Her height is about 5'7 and she weighs 70 kilograms. Annie began CrossFit when she was in California. Annie did very well in the initial games and finished within the top 10 of 70. However, she didn't win an award and ended the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second place, and also won a silver medal in the same year. In her second year of competition that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her incredible performance she became the first woman to be awarded CrossFit Games. Annie won again in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She was the first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, she took home a gold. Then in 2021 she was awarded a bronze. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. Annie's growing popularity as an athlete has led her to become the face of many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. The self-titled Youtube page boasts over 1,000 subscribers, where she posts the videos of her family and trips along with training and diet plans.
