Zoe-perry
Perry has the father of actors Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. Her first appearance was in the television screen as Jackie Harris, a character that was played by her mother on the ABC show Roseanne. Perry did not decide to consider a career in acting after reaching adulthood, as her parents were worried about the detrimental effects that stress could have. Perry, who was too timid to perform in the school, began performing at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry had the opportunity to secure tiny TV roles on Law & Order: Criminal Intent after she graduated. Homesickness, however, led her back to California to return, where she started performing in the stage. The Other Place was performed by her and her mother on Broadway in 2013 She performed with the father of her character Kevin McKidd and Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winning drama Anna Christie in the year 2015 in The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. She had a regular role in the ABC political drama Scandal which starred her father. She played an older Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off show that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was an additional portrayal that was younger of her mother. Despite her family link to the character she got the part through an audition.
